Built by someone who understands spreadsheet pain.
InvoiceCollect is for small businesses that live in spreadsheets, hate the mess, and do not want to buy a big bulky system just to know what has been invoiced, paid, and left outstanding.
My story
My financial discipline didn't come from a classroom — it came from the trenches of working in successful startup.
When I joined Duo Security in its early days, I was running sales operations. Working alongside the CFO, I gained hands-on exposure to finance fundamentals, cash flow management, and balance reconciliation. That experience reshaped how I thought about the operational backbone of a growing business — and it stuck.
As Duo scaled toward its acquisition by Cisco, and as I expanded my own entrepreneurial portfolio across real estate and multiple ventures, one bottleneck kept surfacing: revenue reconciliation was manual, error-prone, and quietly expensive. The stakes only grew as the businesses did.
Over the years, I approached the problem the same way I approach every operational challenge — systematically. Each iteration produced cleaner records, fewer surprises, and more productive conversations with my accountant. What used to be quarterly firefighting became straightforward, strategic reviews.
InvoiceCollect — a Data Sales Science product — is the system I built out of that discipline. It reflects a decade of refinement across real businesses, real books, and real consequences.
